"Americans are fat."
So while I was sitting in the lounge with Silvia and the guys, they asked me this question:
"Stephanie. Do people in your country think that all Americans are fat?"
Well just to clear it up, they're all skinny, like me. So before I leave I will definitely take a picture to prove to you guys. Damn, am I glad I chose to stay alone. Gone are the days of homesickness.
I want to know what love is.
Well its weekend again and I kinda dread weekends. There isn't any food up here and I either have to pay $9 for absolutely distasteful food, or take the hourly bus that comes up here to go downtown alone to eat.
I feel like an idiot, where did my extra 400 go to?!

Skiing
I know this is kinda late, but I realized I HAD to pen down probably the best time of my life here...
Skiing. I know some people with me wanted to leave, but I
really, really, wanted to stay.
I can say with such passion that SKIING, is like the love of my life. You know I quit sports... but the exhaustion I get from skiing. I cannot describe it. I
LOVE being exhausted from it. It takes the place of cycling on my list. But hey- if I had the money to spare, skydiving is next. No regrets.
I know everyone's all over the world for SEP and you guys are seeing snow everywhere. So let me start with great Sunny weather. I shan't spite you but at the number of people complaining about the heat back home, I am no longer complaining about the coldness.
I put this picture up because I was amazed- I don't know if you can see what I am seeing, but-
THE CLOUDS ARE FORMING VERY OBVIOUS SHADOWS! Have you ever seen clouds form shadows like that? Have you ever seen it THIS close? No. Of course not. Colin says its because we are "closer to the clouds". Makes sense.

It
ISN'T a BIG shady tree mind you!
So as if seeing two shooting stars back in campus in ONE night wasn't enough (oh I made a wish on the second), I.... saw a couple of rainbows. Well this is one, whichever way, it seems like on photos they're just colorful blobs, so I'm just posting this for the sake of showing some rainbows. I've seen better. But I got tired of taking pictures of rainbows.

And this is what roadtrips are like. I'm glad to have the two jokers at the back because they constantly make my day... If only they didn't get home sick and want to leave so soon. =(

Okay time to learn something new- SNOW CHAINS.

When Krissy first told me
we would die driving up to Tahoe by the Cliffs without snow chains, I was shocked, puzzled, whatever- WHAT THE FUCK ARE SNOW CHAINS? Won't they burst my tires if I put chains?! Or, how the hell does one drive without a fairly round surface, bob on the road?
If you're smart you would have reasoned out that they were for friction on snow, so that you won't skid while driving... and you are only supposed to put them on at some stop points along the highway up the mountain. Either that or have a four-wheel drive with snow tires.
Four-wheel drive means that the two wheels at the back can move too. I'm sorry I never knew that, but now I do! ;)

Beautiful picture of Tahoe Lake.

....and on a random note, if you haven't seen me complain, I've been to snow places so many times, but never was I allowed to have decent fashionable snow wear. Every time my parents would stop me and say something's not so practical.... BUT IM GLAD I LOOK CUTE NOW RIGHT!

Many thanks to Krissy for the 300USD snow boots. Found out from my friends that when the snow on normal shoes evaporates once you enter the car, your feet get really cold, and like my tour guide from China once told me: "
寒从脚起"
And everyone was psyched up initially, I have to say the equipment were hell lotta heavy. At first I was thinking: Sian, gonna be damn tiring.

I was so tired of walking with the skiis while learning, but it seemed the more I learned the more excited I got to go up there and start skiing for real!

Best. I never fall at all. Though I purposely threw myself into snow afterwards because it really welcoming. Was snowing like mad and I think most got quite sian of skiing..... well I definitely wasn't! Next time gonna make my parents leave me there for one whole day!

Well, that's about it. I have another sex essay to write.... You know it has been really funny. Like nowadays I go like (example): "Oh I went to post the card after sex."
People who don't know I'm taking a SEX module, got stunned. Well, I don't blame them, it did come out wrong.
Anyway I was gonna say I'm super happy I'm winning the bid for an iPhone 3G, but, I just got outbidded. To bid or not to?!

I AM BACK ON!
Hello everybody... I know I took long to even blog about this trip, but I took 1 1/2 months to finally settle in, and I think it has all to do with the weather. Besides being able to ski, nothing about winter excites me.
Well....
IT IS TURNING SPRING SOON uh huh uh huh uh huhhhh!!!! DAMN PRETTY HUH! Yes, envy this.

So it was a fine, sunny, Saturday. Nothing excites me more than the Sun now. I'm serious.
Got my ass out, cause I was being depressed about my SEX essay, and the trojan horses... Speaking of which, I realized, I can't live without my laptop, not up here in my forest! Viruses kept attacking my poor baby, I kinda lost sleep, or I would sleep in chunks because I kept worrying about it.
Don't worry evidence can be seen when you see my pictures below. No photoshop.

Well well well, if Americans weren't lazy enough (pun intended you know who)! A DRIVE-THRU ATM. Drive thru this, drive thru that, they even have those drive in and park, order your food, food gets delivered, and you EAT IN YOUR CAR. Now tell these people they need some cardio exercise!
Ok inserts picture of park-and-eat-in-car (and person who skates food to car) from random day:

Anyway back to my Sunny Saturday, here is the AWESOMEST breakfast I have had since I got here. Omelette, corn, with cheese and CHICKEN MEAT and spinach inside... Now tell me, what can get better than this?!

My love for dogs never die. This isn't even related to the flea market we went to next.

Well there were interesting things at the flea market, but I guess, well, they weren't exactly worth my money? Like this, which Krissy will say: "Fucking retards." I did, however, buy one thing though... I will put it at the end=)

NEXT UP: BEACH. Santa Cruz is well known for their beaches! and how can we miss out on it now that the weather's getting better?

Breathtaking I know, you're gonna get blown away if you were here *coughs*.
Ok random shots below, apparently I got a 5 dollar trim and, well, eyebags- don't even talk about it. I've been a depressed bitch.

So the beautiful Saturday ended, I'm really to lazy to post the rest of the uninteresting things, but I got psyched to go I love Sushi for the very damn SECOND TIME, and hell I'm glad I did! I love Krissy's friends, AND
I GOT A [I LOVE SUSHI] SHIRT!
What is so cool about it you say. Well you order one sake, and the rest of the sake starts pouring in. Boss Kim here is
VERY GENEROUS with his sake. When I say generous I mean it because he's gonna bring more and more and more sake for you... till everyone gets buzzed.
[American Slang:
Buzzed= Tipsy]

....and because sake is so expensive in Singapore we never thought they could be better than liquor, here's how it's drunk:
Sake(obviously in tiny cup), really tastes like hot liquor actually; thrown into the glass of SAPPORO. Yes, beer and liquor. You drink it up, and yes this IS my cup.

So everything else is sushi and all, but I was shocked there were more activities, and while Singaporeans go to 7-eleven and get drunk by Clarke Quay before entering the clubs....
We drive to a house party, open the boot of our snazzy sportscar, and have a mobile bar. Yes- drinks for everyone.

So chaotic I decided to sit down and take pictures for everyone.

Vanessa, me and Dimitry. God I LOVE Dimitry. He's like a brother I always wanted!
Ok so blah blah blah, lots of things happened and we hit the bars after that, this caucasian men tried to hit on me.....hilarious.
"Hey hottie you must really exercise alot....""
No I don't..." *Here, obviously thinking of Kyle who always asks me to EXERCISE.
"Oh yes you do, don't lie"
...all whilst grabbing me. So horrible right! He smelt of cigarettes and he was huge I tell ya. Anyway, over and done with that night. Besides I Love Sushi there was nothing I enjoyed. Even my top was like a wardrobe malfunction. I
looked like a walking clothbag.Let's forward to today: Ehson's surprise birthday party. Here's my first buffalo wing, which, was fucking spicy.

Me and Krissyyy! I know she's hot huh?

Anyway after everything and lots of 2.95USD beers, we left for Mariannes, my fav place in the whole of Santa Cruz besides my room:
Ice Cream place, old school. I love you. Must get old school ticket from old school ticket machine.

..............and here's what I bought. MAC HELLO KITTY EYESHADOW=)))

Just got it off the net:

Different color palette though.
Well, to my loyal readers, this post is to you, waiting for me to cheer up! Love you guys! xoxo.

Time to live for myself.
I suppose people still do read this space, so I guess I'm gonna get out of bed, and do some cool things................ right now I'm just trying to meet cool people through couchsurfing. Wish me luck!
